The Dragon Mage Wars TM

11" x 17" pen and ink on paper.

This portrait is of Morvandis Mir Darune, First Mage, Duke of Daven and Edaria of DeVir, Grand Duchess of Dhaerhan.

Most of the maor inking was done by Susan Tull. I remember Susan working for hours and hours putting all the stippling (texture dots) in the background. For those of you who are unfamiliar with stippling there is not quick way to do it. Each dot must be carefully placed one at a time.
