Greater Realm of Preservation (1994)

5 1/2" x 7" watercolor on board.

Greater Realm of Preservation was painted for the Legends expansion set of the collectible card game Magic:The Gathering.

The idea here was that the angel would be guarding paradise, however what it looks like is the angel is guarding two limp pieces of lettuce with a round of moldy American cheese resting on top. Needless to say this painting was not Nene's finest work.
